MY BEGINNING
Where It All Started
I’m Yukthi Udupa, a passionate young performing artist who has been captivated by Bharatanatyam since the age of 12. My journey towards becoming an accomplished dancer began when I started training under the guidance of Guru Vid Smt. Pravitha Ashok, Artistic Director of Nrutya Vasantha Natyalaya®, Kundapur.
Her mentorship has played a pivotal role in sculpting me into both a wonderful person and performer. My immaculate and effortless rendition, combined with subtle yet communicative expressions, have won the admiration of audiences across India and abroad.
My immense discipline, dedication, and perseverance in this art form have transformed me into who I am today. Dance is not just my passion—it’s my devotion, and I aspire to worship it all my life.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Building Strong Foundations
My technical journey includes completing the Bharatanatyam Vidwath examination with distinction conducted by the Karnataka State Board. I’m proud to be a recipient of the Karnataka State Music and Dance Scholarship and a ‘B’ Grade artist at Dooradarshan.
My Arangetram showcased technical precision, expressive depth, and captivating stage presence, garnering overwhelming praise from critics, peers, and audiences alike.
PRESTIGIOUS STAGES
Performances That Define My Journey
I’ve had the honor of performing at distinguished venues across India. From TEDxSJEC in Mangalore to Krishna Gana Sabha’s prestigious “Ilamaiyil Thiramai 2025” series in Chennai, and the sacred “Naatyanjali” at Patteshwarar Temple in Coimbatore—each performance has been a celebration of this timeless art form.
I’ve also graced stages at cultural events in Bangalore, Mumbai, Kerala, and many more cities, sharing the beauty of Bharatanatyam with diverse audiences.
